The intercollege minor in entrepreneurship and innovation (ENTI) and the technology-based entrepreneurship (TBE) cluster prepares undergraduate students to be world-class technology business innovators. We want students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, meaning that they are more creative, are better at handling ambiguity, are great teammates, and see themselves as fearless problem solvers.

We provide students with a wide range of experiences that allow them to learn the fundamentals related to creating new products, and services; commercializing those products and services, and building a company that can achieve long term success. Some students in TBE will start their own businesses while at Penn State, and we provide a number of programs that will support their efforts. Many students will start a business after leaving Penn State or will work in small, start-up type business situations. Other students will work for large companies but will be considered leaders in their respective companies because of their entrepreneurial skills. The ENTI minor and the TBE cluster serves all of these situations and provides students with a truly life-changing experience.
